This custom greeting card depicts an original watercolor painting by Lindy Bostrom. The subject of motherhood is embellished with symbols woven throughout the image: the diamond in the center symbolizes timeless value, the stars in the sky symbolize angelic wisdom, the full moon behind the baby encircles her in the feminine lunar energy, the roses represent the blood of Christ and love, three white doves symbolize the Holy Trinity, olive branches flank the sides, representing peace, she wears a “crown” of 12 stars, as did Mother Mary, her gown flows into the sea, representing the divine feminine, the wheat field at the foot represents nourishment and life itself. Woven into the golden wheat is the word “MOM”.
It makes a wonderful Mothers Day card, a congratulatory card for a new mother, or any other occasion you feel is appropriate.
