Drawing is technique. It may be more and more rare to find a designer who can actually create any sort of custom image – and not by spending hours looking through stock art! But illustration skills are only a demonstration of a learnable set of skills. Where the true art comes in is with the ideas that drive the image creation. DESCRIPTIVE IMAGESSometimes a photograph just cannot capture what you’re trying to communicate with sufficient clarity. Scientific magnification of chemical elements can be illustrated in a way that a photograph cannot. Images can be simplified so that the message is direct and instantaneous. Whether you’re applying them to diagrams, promotional ads, or children’s products, clearly descriptive illustrations have many useful applications.

THE FACE OF YOUR BUSINESSWhen you’re going to a party, do you dress to the nines, or is it strictly casual at all times?
